Refund Policy for Zam Visa (ZV)

Thank you for choosing Zam Visa (ZV) for your legal assistance in handling your non-immigration case. We are dedicated to providing you with the highest quality legal services, ensuring transparency, and safeguarding your interests. This Refund Policy applies exclusively to the legal services we offer related to temporary U.S. Visa applications and U.S. ESTA applications. For services related to permanent immigration cases, please refer to your individual client agreement or contact us for specific refund details.

By engaging our services, you acknowledge and accept the terms set forth in this Refund Policy. Please read it carefully.

  1. Flat Fee Services

    At ZV, we offer flat fee services for certain legal assistance. The flat fee is considered earned and non-refundable under the following circumstances:

    Once Representation is Accepted: When we accept your case, review your application, and provide you with a written evaluation, the fee is considered earned and non-refundable.
    Failure to Respond: If you purchase legal services but fail to respond to our communications (email, phone, SMS) for more than 15 days, the fee will be considered earned and non-refundable.
    Refunds for Uncompleted Services: In the rare event that we are unable to complete the agreed-upon work due to reasons within ZV’s control, we may consider a refund or partial refund, based on the portion of services that were not performed. Any decisions related to refunds will be made on a case-by-case basis.

  2. Government Fees are Non-Refundable

    It is important to understand that government fees associated with your visa application, including filing and biometric service fees, are non-refundable. These payments are made directly to governmental authorities, and once paid, they are final and cannot be refunded, regardless of the outcome of your application or if you choose to withdraw it. This includes payments made to third-party service providers, such as medical examiners or translators, who are involved in the process.

  3. Chargeback Notice

    By engaging ZV’s services, you agree to be bound by the terms of this refund policy. Attempting to initiate a chargeback or dispute through your payment processor, outside of these conditions, constitutes a violation of our service agreement. ZV takes such matters seriously and will report any suspicious chargeback requests to the appropriate payment processors, the U.S. Government’s issuing body, and other relevant authorities, along with supporting evidence of fraud.

    Chargeback Fraud Consequences: Chargeback fraud is illegal and can result in severe legal consequences. This includes the possibility of being temporarily or permanently barred from entry into the destination country and exposure to potential criminal and civil penalties. We strongly encourage clients to contact ZV directly to resolve any concerns or service issues before resorting to a chargeback.

  4. Termination of Services

    You may terminate our services at any time by providing written notice. Upon termination, we will assess the work completed up until that point. Any legal fees earned prior to termination will remain non-refundable.

  5. No Guarantee of Results

    While ZV is committed to providing diligent and competent legal services, we cannot guarantee the outcome or approval of your visa application or travel permit. Factors such as government backlogs, changes in policy, and other elements beyond our control may lead to delays or decisions that affect your case. We will, however, work to represent your interests to the best of our ability.

  6. Refund Conditions Summary

    Flat Fee Services: Non-refundable once representation is accepted or if there is a lack of response from the client for 15 days.
    Government Fees: Non-refundable. Fees paid to government agencies, including filing, biometric, and other associated fees, are final once processed.
    Partial Refunds: May be considered on a case-by-case basis if services are not completed due to factors within ZV’s control.

    Legal and International Protections

    Governing Law and Jurisdiction:

    This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, United States. In the event of a legal dispute, the courts of New Orleans, Louisiana shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

    International Clients:

    If you are receiving services from outside the United States, please be aware that ZV will comply with all applicable international consumer protection and contract laws. In addition, we will adhere to any local laws regarding refund policies where applicable.

    Refund Protections:

    This Refund Policy aims to provide fair and equitable terms while protecting ZV’s right to charge for services already rendered. It is important to note that refunds will not be issued for services that are rendered, especially when government-related fees are involved, as these are outside of ZV’s control.
